Sun in Cancer | Moon in Capricorn | Uranus freshly in Gemini

On July 10th, under the silvery gaze of the Full Moon in Capricorn, we are illuminated by the ancient wisdom of the mountain goat—steadfast, disciplined, and masterful. Yet this Full Moon doesn't stand alone. It is woven tightly with the heart-centered waters of Cancer and the revolutionary winds of Gemini, calling for a deep karmic reckoning around our foundations, our work, and the stories we've been telling ourselves.

This moon rises in the 2nd house, shining a light on our values, our relationship to security, and our sense of worth. Across from it, the Sun in Cancer (8th house) reveals the shadow realms: ancestral patterns, power struggles, and the mother wound. Together, they form a potent axis of inner child healing and deep emotional transformation.

🌑 A Time for Emotional Alchemy

This lunation opens the gates to powerful shifts:

  • Are you working too hard for too little return?

  • Are you living in alignment with what truly nourishes you?

  • What stories did you inherit from your mother—or maternal line—that are not yours to carry anymore?

The 8th House Sun in Cancer invites us to explore the sacred terrain of emotional death and rebirth. Many may experience what feels like a Dark Night of the Soul, especially those navigating familial wounds or feeling disconnected from their sense of "home." But this is not an ending—it is an initiation.

🔥 Elemental Tools for Cleansing & Rebirth

To support this process, I am offering a handcrafted 5 Elements Incense Blend for ritual and energetic cleansing. This sacred smoke blend contains:

  • Maya Copal – Used by the Maya for ceremonial purification; connects you to divine guidance.

  • White Sage – A classic energy cleanser; banishes stagnant or heavy energy from your aura and space.

  • Palo Santo – Sacred wood of protection and peace; opens the heart space while grounding.

  • Myrrh – Heals emotional wounds; used for grieving and integration.

  • Frankincense – Elevates spiritual awareness; supports deep meditation and inner vision.

Burn this blend during your Full Moon ritual, journaling practice, or meditations to cleanse what no longer serves and call in the sacred new. Use it to sweep away grief, resentment, and exhaustion around the ways you've been overworking, under-nurtured, or emotionally abandoned.

You can purchase this powerful blend on my website [insert your shop link here].

💌 Inner Child & Mother Wound Ritual

Sit in stillness under the Full Moon or light your incense near your altar. Call in your inner child. See them, hold them, ask them what they need. Let yourself grieve. Let yourself feel the mothering you didn’t receive. Offer yourself that tenderness now.

Then whisper:

“I am no longer who I was.I am not what I was taught to be.I am becoming who I truly am.”

✨ Journal Prompts for Radical Clarity

This lunation, with Mercury in Leo (9th house), demands truth in word and thought. Write. Speak. Create. But slow down—Mars and the South Node in Virgo urge us to stop fighting the details. Let go. Flow.

Here are some prompts to explore during this portal:

  1. What do I need to feel safe and secure—in my home, in my body, in my work?

  2. What patterns have I inherited from my maternal lineage that are asking to be healed or released?

  3. Where have I been working too hard to prove my worth?

  4. What kind of work or creativity actually nourishes my soul?

  5. Where in my life do I need to set boundaries—even with family?

  6. How do I speak to myself and about my life? Is this voice empowering or limiting?

  7. What does “home” feel like to me—and how can I create it within myself?

🌬 Uranus in Gemini: A New Era of Thought & Expression

As Uranus enters Gemini (7th House) on July 7th, it begins a long revolution of how we think, speak, write, connect, and relate. Old stories are being rewritten. Partnerships are being restructured. Expect sudden revelations about who you are in relation to others and what you’re truly meant to communicate in this lifetime.

With the North Node in Pisces (4th House), we are being guided to spiritualize our idea of “home.” Not the house we live in, but the one we carry inside. It's time to choose peace, even if that means walking away from dynamics that no longer honor your sacred becoming.

💫 Closing Blessing

This Full Moon is your invitation to come home to yourself. To work less and rest more. To mother your inner child. To let the grief rise, and let it move. To claim your worth. And to burn away all that is not aligned with your truth.

May you be softened by the waters of Cancer, strengthened by the spine of Capricorn, and awakened by the winds of Gemini.

Feel it. Heal it. Then seal it—with a kiss of smoke and sacred intention.

The name LVX Alchemy is not just a title—it’s a statement of purpose, a spiritual invocation, and a guiding light for all who find themselves navigating the shadows, seeking healing, meaning, and transformation.

From Darkness to Light: My Journey

My path began not in mysticism, but in recovery. In the rooms of Alcoholics Anonymous, I was told I could define my Higher Power in any way that made sense to me. At the time, teetering on the edge of atheism, the only deity I could connect with was the Sun—a source of unwavering light, warmth, and life. Every morning, I would greet the sunrise with the Serenity Prayer and sit in meditation, asking for guidance, courage, and clarity.

Over time, that light became more than just symbolic—it became sacred.

As I expanded my spiritual path beyond AA, I immersed myself in energy work, chakra meditation, and New Age philosophies. I learned to channel and circulate white and gold light through my body, down into the Earth and back up again, opening each chakra as a gateway to healing and Divine connection. In becoming a Reiki Master, that light became tangible—I could feel it flowing through my hands as I worked with clients. For me, white light is the essence of Divine Unconditional Love, and it’s this energy that underpins all of my healing modalities.

The Power of LVX

When I began my training in Hermetic ceremonial magick—particularly within the Isian tradition and the McFarland Dianic lineage—I encountered the concept of LVX. Pronounced "Lux," it is Latin for "light", but within magical and alchemical circles, it means so much more.

LVX is the spiritual light invoked in the Lesser Ritual of the Hexagram, a practice meant to draw down cosmic energy into the practitioner, aligning them with divine purpose and truth. LVX is not just illumination—it is revelation, resurrection, and transmutation. It is the light that banishes darkness, clarifies chaos, and awakens the sacred within.

From the writings of ceremonial magicians and mystics:

“The Light is in God, the LVX hath been made into Man. Whether Sun, or Moon, or Wandering Stars, all are in Lux... Lux in Lumine, Lumen in Centrum, Centrum in Circulo, Circulum ex Nihilo…”

This alchemical invocation speaks to the divine spark within each of us, reminding us that all things—whether sun or moon, spirit or matter—are aspects of One Light. LVX is the light of the soul, of healing, of truth, of eternity.

Alchemy: The Sacred Transformation

Why "Alchemy"? Because healing is a form of transformation.

In classical alchemy, the goal was to transmute lead into gold. But in spiritual alchemy, the aim is subtler and more profound: to transmute sorrow into wisdom, fear into courage, wounds into wisdom, and ultimately, darkness into light.

When someone comes to me—be it for a tarot reading, a Reiki session, a sound bath, or a shamanic journey—they often feel lost or heavy, as if cloaked in shadow. The work we do together is not just about relief—it’s about transformation. It’s about activating the inner light, integrating the sacred self, and remembering the truth: you are already whole. You are already divine. You are already Light.

A Beacon in the Darkness

I know what it’s like to feel in the dark. And I know how powerful it is to find even a flicker of light that says, “There’s more. You are not alone. You are not broken.”

LVX Alchemy is my offering to the world. It’s my way of saying: Come as you are. Bring your pain, your questions, your hopes. There is healing here. There is light. There is transformation.

And as the ancient prayers say:

"Let the White Light of the Divine Spirit descend."

May it descend on you. May it fill you. May it lead you home.

In Light and Love,

Kaleigh
